There is a reason why goal setting is so popular for leaders and managers—because it works. Goal setting is an essential requirement for individual, team and company performance. Consistent and desired success does not occur without goals, for anyone. Goals keep us focused, help us change our behaviors, and lead us to try new and different things. All of which are components of success. Kevin Eikenberry and Guy Harris understand the importance of goal setting, and recommend creating a balance between achievable and stretch goals. This course will help you set goals at three different targets. These targets help us create stretch goals, but also promote changes in our thinking and behaviors, which lead to higher levels of achievement. By completing this course, you will know the three types of goals you can set to motivate and inspire your team to achieve higher levels of performance. This course has been approved for 1 hour of PDU credit from PMI (Project Management Institute). An Elearning! Magazine Excellence Award Winner: Management Development Learning Track.
