Many career counsellors and employment centers around the world also need support in understanding each of their candidate’s skills gaps and being able to provide access to skills development programs, online resources and career development tools. Any partners that join WHC will  have access to all the resources you need to better support your Immigration candidates. 

Your communities and candidates trust you and we want to support that by being part of your support process. In doing so, once you become one of our partners, you will be provided with administrative access to your branded platform which would provide you with all the resources required to support your candidates.  We would work with you to set-up the platform, help integrate your candidates, align required resources, assessments, content and reporting. Our goal in supporting Consultants and Employment Centers is to create an ecosystem that creates opportunities that go beyond their local communities. With access to our platform, you will be able to easily focus on your people development while we continue to work to provide you with you with the resources you require.  This will include employment opportunity pipeline, access to resources to assess, train, communication and support your candidates for their immediate needs, but also with them in the future. 

While you would be working with candidates that are interested in all sectors, WHC will also be focusing on supporting building a pipeline of candidates that could be placed with companies across Canada. As we work with you, we will be looking for candidates that can become part of our pipeline of resources to introduce to our corporate partners. 

Your platform will provide you with complete governance over your candidates, their progress, results and with the ability to interact fully. You will also be able to access a robust reporting repository so that you can have reviews with candidates, status and result based reports up to other stakeholders not only during the development of your candidates, but also throughout their career growth.

There are clearly a ton of benefits that come with building an ideal candidate profile. There are many things to consider for the profile: role responsibilities, key skills, company culture, and much more. When working with our Corporate partners we will:

  • Define the job content, duties,
  • consider company culture and vision
  • executed on pre-employment assessments such as personality questionnaires and situational judgement tests.
  • Define key hard and soft skills

Having knowledge of the work to be done is critical. Does the candidate also have the right skills?  Knowledge refers to familiarity with factual information and theoretical concepts, while skills refer to the ability to apply knowledge to specific situations. Without the right skills, a candidate will face many problems within their role. As part of WHC’s solutions, through our 800 job role assessments we will  determine if each candidate has the knowledge and associated skills to do the job.  

Culture can be as important as the knowledge and skills of a candidate. As part of our services, we will determine how well a candidate fits within your culture. Do they have the personality or behavioral types? Do they have the right soft skills?

As part of the process, WHC will also curate content about the company and make available to the candidate. This will help determine how much initiative the candidate takes to understand what the company does, who their team is, their customers, products and more. WHC will follow-up with an company assessment to validate if they have taken the time to understand the company. This is critical because it helps bring to the top the candidates that are taking the time to invest in a possible opportunity.  

Learning and skills development is an ongoing process. Post acceptance of the candidate, WHC will continue to provide the now employee with access to the skills development platform and access to their own learning path for the job role that have taken. This learning path will continue to help support both the employee and the company with ensuring the employee is advancing their skills, creating better ROI for the company.
